Students

We are a church that welcomes students. Attending University or College is a unique opportunity for God to use you. We also understand how being a student can be full of challenges and uncertainties.

We hope Jubilee will be a place where you feel part of a family, where you can be supported, equipped and trained to be a leader and caught up in our vision to reach out to Hull and ultimately the nations of the world.

Jubilee Church’s student team is exciting about getting to know you, helping you through your time as a student with friendship, prayer and regular meetings for coffee or a pint! There are regular student lunches after church and we’re planning a varied and exciting programme of activities for all our students and twenties this year. There is a weekly student small group which meets on Wednesday nights in someones home. We believe you can play an active part in the life of this church, and would love to help you get involved.

Student Mid-week Groups
We currently run four student-lead mid-week groups that meet on a Wednesday night in people’s homes near the university. These are a fantastic way of meeting and getting to know people as well as an excellent place to growing in your understanding of God and your giftings. More info

Student Mini Bus
Every Sunday during term time we run a mini-bus for the morning service that picks up from certain points around the city. For more info on this call or text us 07723 055753. The current times are as follows (these may change in the new term so check back regularly):
The Lawns car park 9.30am
Needler Hall (northgate road) 9.35am
Thwaite Hall Car park 9.40am
Cranbrook ave (outside no. 15) 9.50am
Newland Ave (outside planet coffee) 10.00am

Trips Away
Each year we arrange a weekend away for our students and twenties. This weekend is always a fantastic time of meeting with God and making great friendships. We also attend Mobilise together in the summer. Mobilise is an excellent conference for students and twenties organised by Newfrontiers and takes place in Brighton. Watch the 2010 promo video
