Sundays

Sundays are not what makes us a church but they are an essential part of Jubilee Church life. They give us an opportunity to gather together as a church to worship God and celebrate what He has done in our lives as individuals and corporately.

What can I expect?
Our meetings are informal and relaxed. We have two meetings on a Sunday which have the same format but with a different feel. We begin with an informal time of worship, using contemporary songs and encouraging everyone to participate as much as they feel comfortable. After worship there is teaching from the Bible, given by one of the leaders of Jubilee or a guest speaker. After the talk there is opportunity for you to receive prayer if you would like.

In the morning there is tea & coffee available from 10am, providing an opportunity to meet people before the service begins at 10:30am. Children of all ages are included in the first part of the worship, after which we provide fun and safe activities for them, with both a creche and children’s work. Our new youth work for 11-14 years on Sundays also runs from 11am. We end at around 12pm, with more tea & coffee and another chance to chat.

In the evening we start at 6.30pm. We have hot drinks and toast at the end of the service around 8pm so feel free to stay and chat.
