On Sunday 2nd March, we will be holding our annual gift day. A gift day is a chance to do two things:

1. Review your finances: how are you stewarding what God has given you?
2. Give a one-off gift towards the work of the church or start giving a regular amount if you do not currently.

As we approach the next season, we believe God is calling us to both strengthen what we are already doing and also lengthen into new areas to see Kingdom advance.

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your chords, strengthen your stakes.

(Isaiah 54:2)

We believe God has more people to reach and we are specifically looking to lengthen our reach in three areas.

1. Full View Project: We aim to finish our building project this year and be able to welcome more people than ever into our building. You can read more about this project by clicking here. We are looking to raise money to be able to buy table, chairs and sofas to be able to create a welcoming environment once we are open as a café.
2. Church Planting: Over the next year we are planning to launch a new church into West Hull over the next 12 months called Light Church. This will be based around the Hessle Road area and build on the community work we are already doing. Money from the gift day will be used to help launch the new plant that will be led by Phil and Deborah Irvin.
3. Kingdom Business: As we launch the new café, we aim it to be a training place to get people back into employment. We feel called to work to reduce unemployment in the city and through Jubilee Central and in the future, other businesses, we hope to see this become a reality.
