We are excited to be advertising new job roles at Jubilee Church Hull. We own and run Jubilee Central, a large city centre venue hosting a variety of events throughout the week.

Home to a 630-seater auditorium and many other spaces; from large concerts to small meetings, we are a place for the whole community. As we look to increase the use of the building, these new roles will be vital in helping us develop Jubilee Central into an amazing venue. 

We have an amazing opportunity for an Events Coordinator. This is a brand new, developing role and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to build a future career. This role will be responsible for raising the profile of Jubilee Central and ensuring event organisers have all the information and support required to put on amazing events. If you have experience in event planning and enjoy working with a wide-variety of people, then you could be just the person we are looking for.

Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible hours to be agreed)

Salary: £8,610 pro rata (£20,092 FTE)     

Contract: Initial 1-year fixed term contract

Events Coordinator Job Description

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming place for all and our Venue Hosts are a key part of that. Venue Hosts ensure events run smoothly and the needs of our guests are met, making sure people want to come back again and again. Successful applicants will be employed as casual staff and can sign up events-based shifts. If you are a looking for a flexible role where you can have a real impact, this could just be the role for you.

Job title:  Venue Host

Hours: Casual agreement with shifts arranged on a rota basis in advance including evening and weekend working.

Salary: £9.90 per hour

Contract: Zero-hour contract

Start date: September 2022
